# Psychology Quick Card

Version: 1.0.0

Use this for `lite` and `standard` runtime. Load `knowledge/psychology.md` only in `deep` mode or when the quick card cannot explain the post's mechanism.

## Hook Mechanisms

- Concrete claim: strongest when it names a specific tension or result.
- Information gap: works when the body closes the gap quickly.
- Identity mirror: works when readers recognize themselves without being insulted.
- Contrarian frame: works when supported by a credible reason, not just reversal.
- Practical promise: works when the payoff is usable, not generic.
- Story opening: works when the first turn creates motion.

## Payoff Checks

- Does paragraph 2 answer the hook's promise?
- Does the post move from claim to evidence, example, or consequence?
- Is the ending a real landing point, not just a quote-like flourish?
- Is there one clear takeaway a stranger can retell?

## Share Motives

- Utility share: "This helps someone solve a problem."
- Identity share: "This says something about people like us."
- Relief share: "Someone finally named the thing."
- Warning share: "People should avoid this mistake."
- Debate share: "This creates a thoughtful disagreement."

## Trust Builders

- Specific lived example.
- Concrete constraint or tradeoff.
- Acknowledged uncertainty.
- Source-linked observation from the user's own history.
- Precise wording instead of inflated claims.

## Comment Depth Triggers

Stronger:

- asks for a concrete example or experience
- leaves a real tension unresolved
- gives readers a useful distinction to apply

Weaker:

- generic "what do you think?"
- yes/no agreement bait
- abstract moral conclusion

## Load Full Psychology When

- The post is emotionally complex.
- The main risk is hook/payoff gap or comment quality.
- The user asks why an angle travels psychologically.
- Quick card labels are not enough to explain the decision.

## reason + strip_when

Reason: The full psychology file is useful for deep diagnosis, but routine runs mostly need stable lenses.

Strip when: The full psychology file is replaced by section-level retrieval or becomes compact enough for default runtime.
